CHP 515 The Chaplain and Crisis Situations
This course examines crisis ministry within chaplaincy by developing a conceptual, theological, and practical understanding of crisis and its impact on individuals and communities. Students will distinguish crisis from hardship and explain the various forms. Students will analyze biblical and theological perspectives to construct a biblical worldview of crisis. Students will evaluate the spiritual care methods and approaches chaplains employ to minister effectively to those experiencing acute suffering.
