CHP 510 Pastoral Counseling
This course explores a biblically informed methodology for pastoral counseling within chaplaincy contexts. Students will articulate the distinct role and responsibilities of the pastoral counselor, compare pastoral counseling with other counseling approaches, and evaluate core principles and practices for effective pastoral care. Students will construct a contextualized pastoral counseling framework applicable to ministry-based counseling relationships.
