Program Mission: The CBC graduate will learn the principles of studying the Bible and be exposed to a broad range of Bible and theology within one year of study at Lancaster Bible College.

Requirements: The CBC program is designed to expose students to a full range of Bible and theology courses in one year of concentrated study. The program requires a B average from high school for admission and leads to the Concentrated Bible Certificate.

Program Director: Tim Nicholls, PhD
Dr. Nicholls was born in Suffern, NY and raised in Ringwood, NJ. He began teaching at LBC approximately 15 years ago. Dr. Nicholls graduated from LBC, received an M.A.R. from Reformed Theological Seminary and then a PhD in Greek linguistic studies and ancient rhetoric (centered in Luke's Gospel) at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David. Dr. Nicholls presently teaches several New Testament survey courses and Biblical Hermeneutics (survey and advanced), but also teach NT exegesis, ethics, and philosophy. He also serves as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for several online courses.
Dr. Nicholls and his family live in Montana. He is an elder at his church and teaches Sunday school. He enjoys reading, biking and hiking, car maintenance, and construction.
