SGL 503 Spiritual Formation Through Small Groups
This course will examine the principles of spiritual formation, emphasizing its application to the small group process. The content will also address using discussion techniques, framing and asking questions, handling discussion challenges, creating a safe learning environment, and facilitating meaningful group prayer and worship. In addition, the development of a personal philosophy of spiritual formation and formulating a personal plan for one's own spiritual growth will be explored. 3 credits.
