EDU 340 Introduction to Curriculum & Assessment
This course expands on the basic principles of instructional design to include long-range planning and effective assessment practices. It includes unit planning and all components of an effective scope and sequence, as well as the various types of assessment and the purposes for each. Philosophy of assessment and grading, and the relationship between instruction and assessment, will be discussed and explored.
