GPC 510 Human Growth and Development Across the Lifespan

This course provides an overview of contemporary theoretical perspectives regarding the nature of developmental needs and tasks from infancy through late adulthood, the influences of development on mental health and dysfunction and the promotion of healthy development across the human lifespan. The special tasks, challenges, and concerns for age-stage related issues will be evaluated and discussed while emphasizing the physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth of the individual.
