PCN 310 Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
This course prepares students to give immediate help to people experiencing crises. It will apply a short-term crisis intervention model for assessing and helping persons regain stability during the crisis experience. Simulations and role-playing activities will be used to model crisis intervention with situations including but not limited to: the loss of a loved one, emergency personnel debriefing, suicide, drug overdose, loss of personal property due to natural disaster.
