The Charles and Gloria Jones Library

The Charles & Gloria Jones Library provides access to numerous databases for scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles, eBooks, newspapers, magazines, and much more. Online resources are accessible 24/7 using your LBC username and password. To access these resources, go to https://www.lbc.edu/library. Students can even request books to be sent to them from any one of the three physical branches (Lancaster, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.) or from other libraries as interlibrary loans (LBCShare). The library website also includes links for students to request research assistance either in-person or virtually:

  • ASK US is for information from an LBC librarian within 24 hours (Monday–Friday).
  • CHAT NOW is for immediate assistance – usually from a non-LBC librarian.
  • SCHEDULE A MEETING is for arranging an appointment with a librarian, either in-person or online.

Current lending policies are summarized below.

Once fines reach a total of $20 you will not be able to continue borrowing until the fines are paid.

Fines can be paid by cash or check (payable to Lancaster Bible College) only.
