2021-2022 Traditional Undergraduate Student Handbook

Counseling and Career Center (C3@LBC)

The Counseling and Career Center (C3) at LBC is committed to connecting students at LBC with free, biblically-based, professional counseling services. C3 provides a holistic approach, viewing all aspects of a student’s life as interrelated. Personal, spiritual, academic, financial and career concerns are all appropriate topics for counseling.

C3 provides undergraduate students with confidential, short-term counseling services. Individual and group therapy can help students address issues of how to manage a myriad of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, relationships and more. C3 provides a safe and relaxed environment where students can discuss their concerns in a confidential setting.

Career counseling is also available through the C3 office. Meet one-on-one with a counselor for career advice, consult about choosing your major, practice a mock interview, or have your resume reviewed. All LBC students have the opportunity to utilize a free account through Handshake, an online career services platform, which includes an electronic job board listing full-time, part-time, internships and summer jobs. More information on Handshake is available at www.lbcjobs.com.

Students can contact C3 directly by phone at (717) 560-8200 ext. 5801 or via email c3@lbc.edu. Our office suite is located on the second floor of Miller Hall (Upper Miller) and is open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. For more information on the Counseling and Career Center, visit www.lbc.edu/c3.
