SGL 509 Developing Community Through Small Groups
This course will analyze the biblical and practical issues related to developing Christian community through the small group process. Topics examined will be the biblical patterns of community, levels and styles of communicating both thoughts and feelings in groups, cultural issues in developing community, cultivating listening skills, appropriate self-disclosure in groups, gender issues in communication, and interpersonal relationship styles. 3 credits.
