CPS 577 Human Sexuality

Viewpoints on human sexuality are crucial to the field of counseling theory and practice. A consideration of the development and possible etiologies for different sexual orientations and their relationship to "abnormality" bears significance to counseling practice, as well. The course will grapple with current trends, seek to understand human sexuality from a biblical perspective, and consider ways in which the professional counselor can assist counselees who have developed divergent sexual practices. 3 credits.
