Pre-Seminary Major (BA)

Majors: Biblical Studies, Pre-Seminary
Major Mission: The Pre-Seminary major seeks to train servant scholars who desire graduate education as shepherds who build and lead healthy, missional churches.
Major Outcomes: Students will:
- Articulate a biblical and personal philosophy of ministry.
- Lead others as they serve with integrity of character.
- Serve with confidence knowing their unique blend of personality, giftedness, and passion.
- Experience a mentoring relationship with a missional pastor of a local church during intensive ministry involvement.
- Develop speaking gifts and skills to communicate biblical truth with accuracy and relevancy in private and public environments.
- Exercise basic competencies in pastoral ministry.
- Build team leadership as a core value in local churches.
- Employ proficiency in translating the Greek New Testament.
