THR 310 Staging and Illumination

An introduction to the art of staging and illumination: this course will cover the fundamentals of stage lighting, including the history of lighting, illumination, lighting equipment, projection principles, color, elementary electricity, and lighting controls (digital and analog). Basic stage design will be introduced and related to the concepts of proper illumination. (3 credits)
