POL 308 Foundations of Legal Study & LSAT Prep
This course is designed for upperclassmen interested in legal studies. The course introduces students to the ideas and concepts that underlie the legal system in the United States. Drawing on basic legal doctrines and principles, the course will examine the minimal social expectations embodied in the law and discuss the nature of individual obligation and professional accountability in society. Finally, the course will explore broader moral responsibilities by drawing upon biblical norms and values necessary for a vibrant, flourishing community. The course is intended to prepare students for the entrance exam to law school. (3 credits)
Prerequisite
This course is for juniors and seniors or any others by special permission from the Professor.
