HTH 340 History & Theology of Ancient & Medieval Church   

This course covers the chronological sweep from the closing of the New Testament through the end of the Medieval ages (AD 100-1500) as Christianity expanded across multiple continents and then settled in Europe. Attention focuses on the flow of events across Christian traditions and major developments in theology and biblical interpretation, exploring significant people, events, and movements. Students are introduced to historiography and methods for studying Christian history.
