CPS 526 Assessment Techniques in Counseling
Assessment Techniques in Counseling is a course designed to introduce students to various instruments designed to measure psychological functioning. To that end, the student will be familiarized with several measures that are frequently administered to children, adolescents, and adults. It is hoped, however, that throughout the semester, students will develop greater competency with instruments that are germane to their population of interest as well as those that fit current and future ministry opportunities while maintaining a well-rounded appreciation of the role of assessment in the course of helping clients. 3 credits.
