PAS 205 Introduction to Preaching
This course introduces students to the theology and practice of Christian preaching as the proclamation of the gospel. Students will learn to interpret biblical texts for preaching, develop sermon ideas faithful to both text and context, shape sermons that are gospel-centered, and engage listeners with pastoral attentiveness. Through readings, workshops, and in-class preaching, students will understand preaching as both a theological act and a pastoral vocation. (3 credits)
