HTH 341 History  & Theology  of the Reformation & Modern Church   

This course covers the chronological sweep from the dawn of the Reformation to the end of the Modern era (AD 1500-2000), tracing the shift in Christianity’s center from Europe to the Global South. Attention focuses on the flow of events across Christian traditions and major developments in theology and biblical interpretation, exploring significant people, events, and movements. Students are introduced to historiography and methods for studying Christian history. (3 credits)
