CRJ 205 Law Enforcement and Public Service Preparation

This course provides students with an introduction to the knowledge and practical applications associated with topics typically taught in a police academy setting. The subjects covered include, but are not limited to, the following: an overview of the police academy, the experience of being a recruit or police officer, the command structure, report writing, patrol functions, building searches, officer survival techniques, and simulations. (3 credits)
