Cancellation of Classes and College Closings
A class will be considered canceled when the professor is more than fifteen (15) minutes late.
If it becomes necessary to cancel or delay classes or any college-sponsored activity, decisions will be made by 6 am for day classes/activities and 2:30 pm for evening classes/activities. An announcement about a delay or closing will be posted on the LBC website at www.lbc.edu, communicated through the LBC alert system and on the college’s automated answering system (717 .560 .8200 or 8201) . Cancellation of a day schedule does not mean that the evening schedule is canceled. A separate announcement will be made for an evening schedule.
A class schedule for delays can be found on the student portal.
The announcement will be given to the following stations: WGAL TV 8 and WJTL 90.3 FM.
