PSY 400 Cross-cultural Experience
Today’s counseling students are preparing to work in a world which is pluralistic and diverse. To best prepare counselors for the professional work environment of the 21
st
century, they must have an awareness of the diverse cultures present in the world and the role of counseling within these cultures. This cross-cultural experience is designed to challenge and broaden the worldview of the students by placing
them in
a context that
is in contrast to
their native culture. (1 credit)
