MAT 217 Applied Statistics
This course focuses on the statistical analysis techniques used in a variety of disciplines. Students will describe and summarize univariate and bi-variate data graphically and quantitatively. In addition, students will study continuous probability distributions and perform both parametric and nonparametric tests of significance. The course is designed not only to help students understand statistical concepts with the aid of technology but also to inform a biblically based decision-making process.
