BUS 480 Managerial Decision-Making

Decision-making is one of the most important functions of management. Today’s business environment is characterized by high competition, constant changes, extensive globalization, large amounts of data and information, making decision making increasingly more difficult. This course will instruct students how to make higher quality decisions using the available data.  Students will be introduced to multiple methodologies and techniques that will enable them to make better decisions in a more systematic manner, including: decision analysis; linear programming; forecasting; inventory control models; queuing theory and simulation modeling.  Students will learn to apply biblical principles to evaluate the decision and implementation, while assuring that the process and results are God-honoring.
