Admissions Procedures

Applying to Lancaster Bible College is simple. Please complete the following items:

Application and Autobiography

You can apply online at www.lbc.edu. Please submit a 500-word autobiography to accompany your application. Your autobiography should include the following: family background, Christian testimony (salvation experience and walk with the Lord), school and church experiences, and reason(s) for wanting to attend LBC.

High School Transcripts

Request an official high school transcript to be sent directly to LBC. If you have taken the GED test, the official scores need to be sent to the college. Home-schooled students need to submit a transcript with courses and grades that you have completed.

College Transcripts

If you have attended any colleges, request an official college transcript to be sent to LBC. Our registrar will provide you with a curriculum sheet identifying the courses that will transfer into your program.

ACT/SAT/CLT-Scores

Although LBC is test-optional, if you have taken a standardized test, you may be eligible for a bonus scholarship. Request your ACT, SAT or CLT scores to be sent directly to the College. LBC's school codes are: SAT-2388, ACT-3707. Information concerning ACT, SAT or CLT test dates and locations is available from most high school principals or guidance counselors, or on the web.

Spiritual Reference

A spiritual reference is required for all applicants. On the application you will provide the name, title and contact information for your pastor, youth pastor, small group leader, mentor or other Christian non-family member who can answer a few questions about your walk with the Lord.

Scholarship Profile

Applicants complete a scholarship profile form to help determine eligibility for scholarships beyond academics. These scholarships include items such as Child of Full-time Christian Worker, Sibling, AWANA, and Child of Alum.
