The Principle of Stewardship
Our resources are his. Stewardship is managing everything God brings into the believer’s life in a manner that honors him and impacts eternity. This includes the way time, talents, material possessions, and wealth are used or given for the service of God. This perspective begins and ends with the understanding of God’s ownership of all. The Bible teaches that people are accountable and responsible to God for the way they use the resources they are given. We are expected to “steward” or “manage” these for the One who owns and has given them for this purpose. God has richly blessed the college with a beautiful campus. We at LBC want to glorify him in the way that we use what he has provided through our care and respect of the facilities, people and programs of LBC.
