FAS 100 Foundations for Academic Success
This course offers an orientation designed to equip LBC Global undergraduate students for success in their courses by providing strategic information tailored to promote their learning and growth. Beginning with the LBC mission, vision, and core beliefs, this course will discuss the impact of a biblical worldview on life and learning. Resources for student success will be discussed such as LBC technology systems, the library, writing services, and advising. Furthermore, this course will provide information and discuss the learner’s responsibilities in areas such as time management, learning strategies, academic integrity, and writing style guides. This course is required for all students studying at the sites. For students studying completely online, this course is required for all students unless they are transferring in 45 or more credits, not including life experience credits. Students should take this course at the beginning of their program.
