Pastoral Ministry Five Year Program (BA/MAM)

Majors: Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministry, also available as a minor
Major Mission: The Pastoral Ministry major seeks to train servant leaders as shepherds who build and lead healthy, missional churches.
Major Outcomes - Students will:
- Articulate a biblical and personal philosophy of ministry.
- Lead others as they serve with integrity of character.
- Serve with confidence knowing their unique blend of personality, giftedness, and passion.
- Experience a mentoring relationship with a pastor of a local church during intensive ministry involvement.
- Develop speaking gifts and skills to communicate biblical truth with accuracy and relevancy in private and public environments.
- Exercise basic competencies in pastoral ministry.
- Build team leadership as a core value in local churches.
Program Description: The BA/MAM Four-Plus-One Track offers an affordable, flexible, integrative, and customizable route to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in five years. Students complete the four-year Bachelor’s program and finish the remaining coursework for the Master’s degree with an additional year of study. This option allows students to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry, and a Master of Arts in Ministry.
