MAT 060 Basic Math Skills

The basic mathematical skills of arithmetic and algebra and their applications are covered in this course. Included are the study of operations involving integers, fractions, and decimals. Factors, multiples, ratio, proportion, percent, measurement involving English and Metric systems, equations and inequalities, and graphing ordered pairs are discussed. The solving of word problems is also included in the course. This course does not count towards graduation requirements. 3 credits.
