HPE 356 School Health I

This course is designed to include the knowledge and skills necessary for the development, implementation, and assessment of a comprehensive health education curriculum for elementary, middle, and high school students. The students learn the teaching strategies to be used for the instruction of mental and emotional health, family and social health, growth and development, and nutrition. Prerequisites: EDU 204 and HPE 105. 3 credits.
