CRJ 352 White Collar Crime
This survey course will review the major criminal statutes intended to modify the behavior of business and government entities and individuals holding positions of power within these agencies. As with the study of street crime, procedure is immensely important to the study of white collar crime and therefore considerable time will be devoted to procedural considerations as well as case studies. The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an understanding of white collar, or corporate, crime in the U.S. and the unique issues it presents for the criminal justice system.
