CPS 552 Marriage and Family Issues

This course will prepare students for graduate studies in marriage and family counseling. It is a theoretical course that will cover the foundation issues of marriage and family, and raise the critical thinking skills of students concerning the ultimate goal and purpose of marriage and family therapy from a Christian perspective. It will also examine the impact of culture, faith, and trends in society upon marriage and family that will assist the student to understand the problems that married couples, parents and youth face. 3 credits.
