IWR 100 Intensive Writing
Students interact with a variety of organizational patterns that are common within academic English writing. Drafting, editing, and revising activities enable students to produce their own writing at the sentence, paragraph, and essay level. Students explore cultural expectations regarding academic integrity and plagiarism as they begin to work with and cite outside sources within their work. Attention is given to instructing students in the collocations and grammatical structures necessary to improve their written English.
