HSV 230 Evangelism in the Marketplace
This course is designed to give students an introductory overview of the ministry of evangelism in post-modern, post-Christendom, and globalized cultures. Emphasis is on helping students develop a biblical and theological understanding of evangelism with an application to the task of communicating the gospel in contemporary contexts. This course examines critical literature and legislation for biblical evangelizing in contemporary contexts and social service agencies. Special attention will be given to practical strategies for Christians working in secular social environments on how to present the gospel in the marketplace.
