COM 311 Writing for News Media
This course introduces students to the writing skills needed for today's converging news media environment. These skills will include researching, observing, interviewing, evaluating, writing and editing news. Students will write for various news outlets. Industry standards will be evaluated from a biblical worldview and adopted for practice. Prerequisite:
COM 202 or permission of instructor. 3 credits.
